@Mechele Newell Unless tutoring is mandatory at your school, I would wait until you‘re solid in your daily instruction before adding more to your plate. Not to discourage you at all but, your first year is going to be super hard. I‘d stick to the basics until you feel comfortable and then add more. Take it slow to prevent burnout! Tutoring didn’t work for me my first year because I wasn‘t solid in my daytime instruction and I should have focused on improving that. Although I had good intentions, I was so tired my first year, tutoring at some point became glorified babysitting. Girl I was exhausted. Listen to your body, you’ll know what to do!
